I'm a Candadian living in the United States. I've been working since I was 16, and am getting to the age where I would really rather work for myself. I've done PartyLite, Watkins, and a few other NM businesses in search of one that would give me the freedom I wanted and fit my ideal. I've dabbled in herbal and holistic remedies since the early 80's and found a business which specialized in Adaptogens.
There are many challenges to owning your own business, but when your hard work pays off, there is nothing like it! You are responsible for yourself and the success of your business. Candles are great, makeup helps you look better, but what does it for me is that I get to help people actually do something to be healthier. Some of the herbs used have been a part of Chinese medicine for over 4000 years. I love sharing the nontoxic benefits of adaptogens with people.
