For years I have dreamed of starting my own consulting business. As a chartered accountant, I had done consulting in the past (while I was transitioning between permanent positions). So when I found myself quitting my job suddenly – I naturally turned to consulting.

After working on my own for a while I decided to talk to my self employed friends and family – to put together a free website that would help others feel the same joy and freedom by helping them to start their own home based business. Our contributors include owners of businesses as diverse as: house/office cleaning, corporate event planning and professionals such as: website designer, chef, graphic designer, crafty designers of every kind, accounting and a wide variety of other services.
