Pampered Chef is based on a dual growth concept of sales and team building. Founded in 1980, consultants offer cooking presentations in the homes of family, friends, and clients who have exhibited interest in the products. Pampered Chef offers over 300 multi-purpose kitchen tools. Of these, over 80% are exclusive to Pampered Chef. The company offers assistance to new consultants through online training, business supplies, and resources to help them grow their business. Pampered Chef test kitchens develop more than 400 recipes a year which are shared with consultants for use during their cooking demonstrations. There is an eight level career ladder within the Pampered Chef organization that goes from consultant to Executive Director. At each level bonuses of products or money incentives are added.
