REVIEW: The On-site Corporation

check-mark reviews

Company: The On-site Corporation

Locations: United States

Stars out of 5:

***

Suspected Spam or Scam (a): No

Approximate Startup Cost: USD$6,000

Job/Business: Business

Salary/Income Range: Per website average hourly rate of USD$150.

Website: www.on-sitecorp.com

Description of Business:
On-site Inc is a drapery cleaning company. They do not see themselves as a franchise. What they do is sell you the On-site System and then train you on how to use it. After that, you are empowered to build your own client base. One of the main advantages of the On-site System is that it allows you to do the cleaning at the client's site. Though On-site Inc, indicates that average returns would be an amazing USD 150.00 per hour, there is no data to back up this claim. You are therefore advised to exercise extra caution when using these figures. Just like in many other types of businesses, returns are dependent on many factors including location, competition, price and service.

Pros:
1. Relatively low start-up costs (starting from USD 6,000).

2. Lead referral service to all graduates of On-site University.

Cons:
1. Logistics - You have to move with the apparatus to each client's site. Depending on the area you cover and the number of machines at your disposal, this could significantly increase overheads.

2. Competition from cheaper cleaning alternatives - This is in spite of the fact that the quality of cleaning offered by the cheaper alternatives may not at the same level as the On-site system. Unfortunately, price is one of the key determinants of service selection among many consumers.

(a) Scam - illegal / unethical job or business opportunity designed to trick people out of their money.
Spam - marketing of job or business opportunity, which does not pay out or provides very little value to the job/business seekers.
