Description of Business:
How times change! There was a time when most of us felt that what happened in our homes or offices when we were not around was something we could do very little about. The technology required then was out of reach for many: but not anymore. Monitor Closely Inc. now provides digital surveillance technology that targets home, corporate and industrial users. What is more, they have franchising opportunities where like-minded persons and businesses can collaborate with them to effectively communicate and deliver these solutions to the market. There is no need to have prior experience in the surveillance or security field. A four-day training is offered that is aimed at giving the franchisee the foundation required to hit the ground running.

Pros:
1. Solution offered has many practical uses including domestic that could appeal to a large audience if well marketed.

2. Ease of deployment.

Cons:
1. Some large institutions may be difficult to sell to - Due to the sensitive nature of surveillance data, they would need to be persuaded that the confidentiality and integrity of the data is assured.

2. Trust Issues - One of the biggest concerns that people have as they consider setting up a domestic visual surveillance system is how that would be viewed by the monitored person(s). The presence of a surveillance camera in the home though well intentioned, could be considered a sign of distrust.

(a) Scam - illegal / unethical job or business opportunity designed to trick people out of their money.
Spam - marketing of job or business opportunity, which does not pay out or provides very little value to the job/business seekers.
