Global Internet Terminals business idea is simple: It is about providing internet access to people wherever they are. Global Internet Terminals provides the software and hardware you require to put up internet access terminals at strategic points and have people use at a fee. It is a business model that is relatively low on overheads. The minimum initial investment required is USD 16,000 but this could go as high as USD 135,000. What I find disconcerting however is that a franchise whose core business is the provision of internet access does not have a functioning website (as at the last time I checked). That they are in the internet industry makes it unacceptable. That fact alone does not really help their case at all even though the business rationale makes sense.


Pros:
1. Low overheads.
2. Flexibility - You can move the terminal from location to location.
3. Minimal training required.


Cons:
1. High initial investment cost.
2. Strong competition from home and mobile internet access solutions.
3. Constant monitoring of terminal use required.
